Tying Partners are Highly Recommended !
This workshop is for people with an understanding of Shibari and can tie with their eyes closed; a basic chest harness, single/double columns,. Also have been tying for more than 6 months.
You must also have your own rope.

Covering: Upline management, different levels of intensity, body type adjustments, important knots and harnesses, rope handling skills, and understanding your partner. This curriculum changes with each session.

$70/ tying couple CASH ($80 digital currency ). $35 cash ($40 if digital Zelle or Venmo)

CLASS START TIME IS 8:00PM. DOORS OPEN AT 7:30PM FOR CHECK-IN. Class starts promptly at 8pm. Doors lock at 8:15. Open practice: 10-11pm. We are allowing for an hour after the class for you to practice what you just learned.

(LEVEL 300) Advanced Shibari

(ground ties)/ Shibari 300 Partial Suspension (mastering complex, high density and restrictive techniques, intricate ties, erotic or sexual ties, advanced negotiation, wax play,  cutting rope,  multi-rope harnesses, advanced anatomy, nerve mapping, comfortable ties, aesthetically pleasing or artistic ties, ROPE FLOW STATE, rigger and rope bottom experience levels, rope for the less than bendy, hypermobility, predicament bondage, using bamboo to tie, suspension mechanics, asymmetrical tying,  understanding friction, tension, pressure and lock offs, and how to connect with you partner in a language of rope).

Suggested Rigger Level: For people with an understanding of Shibari and can tie a basic chest harnesses from memory, single/double columns with their eyes closed, and have been tying for more than 6 months. You must also have your own rope.

Things you should bring:

  • Tying ROPE: Six to Eight hanks of Rope, 25-30ft in length each.
  • Comfortable clothing for rope (lycra and spandex are very SLIPPERY fabrics and will make this more difficult to tie)
  • Aftercare needs, a blanket to keep warm after tying.
  • Safety shears. Available for purchase if you don’t have any.
  • A mat to tie on, if you prefer to use your own.

Available:

  • 6 x 10′ long bamboo beams and 2 rings.
  • Water bottles, coffee, and popcorn will be offered free of charge
  • We have many soft mats, and a limited number of tatami mats.
  • Emergency supplies will be on site in the form of safety shears and a first aid kit.
  • Photography will only be allowed for reference. When taking photos please always make sure no one else is in the frame. Do not take pictures of the instructors or other guests.
  • Be respectful towards other guests

DON’T HAVE ROPE? Then this is not the class for you. Please look at our other classes.

Parking and finding the location:

DO NOT PARK IN THE PARKING LOTS. They tow! Park on the streets. There is no 2 hour time limit that late at night.
After you park you will look for the big blue building across the street from the Bank of America. Walk down the alley. Find our side door that has the Ancient Vine Studio on the side.
